Fantastic stay! We booked this place specifically for stargazing and it delivered the views of the night sky were incredible. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the home was a great spot to unwind, especially with the hot tub. The only hiccup was the burn ban and the fireplace not being functional (would’ve been nice since it was chilly), but overall everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

It was the perfect little mini-break from Houston. A super cute raised cabin built around a tree. Tons of land surrounding the cabin, we came with our Golden and she got to roam around with us and loved it. Inside has everything you’d need for a little mini escape. Kitchen comes with Keurig, microwave, toaster, hot plate, pots and pans, and dish ware needed to enjoy meals in the cozy little kitchen. Direct TV is available there but no wi-fi (in case you wanted to airplay some downloaded movies or something). But we were really only there at night anyways - so much to explore in that area. We hit up Pedernales, Colorado Bend, and Enchanted Rock in our 2 days there - just to come back and sit by the campfire until time for bed. And - the bed was excellent. I slept like a rock. Seriously the cutest cabin in the best location to get out of town! I think we’ll come back to the ranch with the kids (but obviously in a different unit that supports the 5 of us). Thanks for letting us stay!

We absolutely LOVED it out here! It’s far away from the main road and the neighbors! It was perfectly done inside and the patio chairs were great for sipping morning coffee and seeing some deer. Would most definitely come back and stay for a longer time just to decompress and relax!

We had a wonderful time here. Our young kids were so excited to sleep in the “treehouse” and loved running around outside. The stargazing was great and we enjoyed the large porch. The location is great within 30 minutes of both Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Definitely an excellent place to stay for a weekend escape!

This was such a peaceful and enjoyable stay! We have two toddlers and the space was wonderful for us all. Lots of space to play, great amenities, crayons coloring books and some games were provided; all the little things that make a stay easier. The beds are comfy, the place was so cute, interesting, and clean. Plus the towels were big and so soft. We bumped into the owners (about thirty seconds after we arrived to the home) when a package for them ended up at the airbnb. They were so kind! They had great recommendations and were quite helpful in the few minutes they were there. You can tell they’re good people. The only drawback is it’s close to a road. If your kids are runners then you aren’t gonna have much time to catch them before they’re in that road. Thankfully it’s not busy. You’d think it would be noisy but we didn’t notice any at all. We loved it and would like to come back again in the future. We’re already considering the best time of year to revisit. Thanks y’all <3

Ashley’s place was perfect for 3 adult couples weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for us to be spread out, yet quaint enough to be cozy. She was very communicative and instructions were spot on. She left us welcome snacks and a bottle of wine, which was a very nice gesture. The price was more than worth it and the location couldn’t be more ideal. Compared to other houses we found fo what we needed and the comfort, style and location we waned - hers was the best by a long shot. We definitely would book again. 10/10 would recommend.

I stayed at the Boar Lodge for one night & it was a great private getway from the city. If you want a great place to relax while stargazing I definitely recommend it.

We had a great time celebrating the new year! The cabin was perfect. We enjoyed staying away from the hustle of downtown but still being 5 mins away. Fun bar and great food and drinks right up the drive way. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a great time at Ashley’s Airbnb. I loved her home it was beautiful to see the scenery overlooking her deck. The hot tub was amazing being able to watch the night sky we were able to see so many stars that we couldn’t see in San Antonio. My husband had a great birthday and loved this Airbnb.
