The two-level design features a comfortable king bed in the loft, an additional mattress, and a sofa bed, making it a great option for a small group or family. The warm wood interior and large windows create a welcoming space filled with natural light, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside. The Bird's Nest also comes with a handy kitchenette, equipped with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and basic dining utensils—everything you need to prepare simple meals during your stay. You’ll also find linens and towels provided, along with a starter pack of essentials like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and paper towels, so you can feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Bird's Nest is surrounded by nature, with a firepit that’s perfect for gathering around in the evening. Share stories, roast marshmallows, and enjoy the warmth of the fire under the starry sky. There’s also an outdoor dining table, where you can enjoy meals surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. At night, the Bird's Nest offers a spectacular view of the stars. While the rest of Willow Sky Ranch has free 2G and 5G WiFi, the Bird's Nest does not have WiFi access. This gives you the perfect excuse to put away your screens and fully enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. This property is steeped in history, featuring the original 1860s settlers cabin, the original windmill, and a herd of blackbuck antelope grazing in the pasture, offering guests the chance to observe wildlife day and night. Guests staying in the three separate living spaces can enjoy shared common areas, including pool, hot tub, large fire pit, a full-sized teepee, and expansive acres of walking space to explore. The Willow Sky Ranch offers three unique living spaces, each listed independently: the 1905 Main Home, Boar's Lodge, and the Bird's Nest Tree House. Guests can choose to book any of these individually or reserve the entire property for a completely private getaway. For those booking the entire ranch, there's also the option to include a one-of-a-kind dance hall, complete with a stage, bar, and a 3,000 sq. ft. dance floor.

Welcome and unwind in style, gaze at the starlit Texas skies & relax and have fun! • We happily accommodate your stay, but please refrain from hosting big events, noisy celebrations, or using guns, fireworks, or starting fires on the property. The home MUST NOT, under any circumstances, exceed the maximum occupancy limit of 4 individuals. • Please stay on the structure side of the fencing and do not enter the pasture area. There is a herd of blackbuck antelope and their protector Jenny the Donkey. They are super fun to watch throughout the day but please do not enter their space. • Feel free to explore the property but stay aware of nature’s animals including snakes, scorpions, coyotes, etc. • Please limit water use – the ranch is run with rainwater collection and water wells and water supply is low in the region. • Please only flush toilet paper since the ranch is on septic.
